First to bring out online training courses for the G1000 in 2006, he’s first to announce online training courses for the new Garmin Perspective glass cockpit, shipping exclusively in Cirrus Design’s SR22 aircraft. Unlike traditional training courses that force everyone to go through all of the information in a linear fashion, these courses features Max Trescott’s Interactive Quick Start, which makes it easy for beginners and experts to quickly find just the level of detail they need. Available for quick reference throughout the course, interactive tabs let users display large, annotated pictures of the PFD, MFD, GFC 700 autopilot and audio panel. By clicking on any of the features or controls, users can quickly drill down to get just the information they’re looking for.
