24/01/06: MRC Academy releases the P-38F Lightning “GLACIER GIRL” - 1/48 Scale

MRC & Academy were asked to reproduce “Glacier Girl”, one of the most famous aircraft of WWII. This unique P-38F was abandoned and buried under 262 feet of snow and ice in Greenland for nearly 60 years. The story of two B-17’s and six P-38 fighters on their way to England to support the war effort is amazing.
