SR Technics and dba sign component services agreement

Zurich, 28 February, 2007 - SR Technics has concluded a new Integrated Component Solutions (ICS) agreement with the German carrier dba for component services on its Boeing 737 Classic fleet. The work, due to commence in mid October 2007 following the expiration of the current components contract, will cover 10 Boeing 737 Classic aircraft until they are phased out of dba’s fleet. Under this new agreement SR Technics will continue to place a consignment stock at Munich airport for the exclusive use of dba. In addition the airline will also have access to SR Technics’ extensive component pool at its London Heathrow Logistics Centre. The original component services contract with dba began in October 1997 and has seen dba being successfully supported by SR Technics over the past decade. The new agreement is also in addition to a three year Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) agreement signed last year between the two companies for support of the Honeywell APUs installed on dba’s fleet of Boeing aircraft.

Commenting on this agreement, Mike Humphreys, Executive Vice President Component Services at SR Technics said, “We are delighted that dba has chosen to continue its longstanding relationship with us. Our approach to offer integrated solutions enables us to tailor our component products and services precisely to the customer’s specific wishes and needs. The provision of Integrated Component Solutions (ICS) is sure to remain a key driver of our company’s continued growth.”
