Depuis 1983, l'ONG Aviation sans Frontières Belgique (ASF) met les moyens aéronautiques appropriés à la disposition des missions humanitaires d'urgence et de développement. Grâce à ses avions petits porteurs, capables de se poser sur les pistes les plus rudimentaires, ASF opère dans les zones les plus difficiles d'accès. Ils permettent de briser l'isolement des populations en détresses, particulièrement en Afrique. ASF organise par ailleurs d'autres activités comme l'accompagnement d'enfants malades ou l'envoi de petits colis humanitaires. En tant qu'organisation non gouvernementale (ONG), ASF agit en toute neutralité et indépendance. Ses volontaires (pilotes, mécaniciens, logisticiens) acceptent de consacrer, bénévolement, une partie de leur temps libre à des missions d'urgence et de développement. Back to top

ULM sans Frontières (USF) est une association de 10 passionnés des airs, généreux de notre temps et prêts à partager leurs expériences, avides de sensations et d'aventures, pilotant en formation telle une escadrille. Tous unis par un même but : repousser les frontières et les limites aussi loin que possible. L'asbl USF a été créée par ces mêmes passionnés et a comme objectif de réaliser un grand voyage par an à buts humanitaires à bord d'Ulm ultra performants et d'avions d'intendance. L’association s'engage également, grâce au soutien financier de ses sponsors, à nos donations privées, et à l'envie permanente de nos membres qualifiés de partager leur passion, d'organiser une fois par an un baptême de l'air entièrement gratuit pour les enfants gravement malade dont le rêve est de voler en avion et ceci en étroite collaboration avec la fondation « Make a Wish ». The Winds of Hope Foundation was established officially on 9th September, 1999 at Château-d’Oex by Bertrand Piccard, Brian Jones and their partner in the Breitling round-the-world trip. It is a government-approved foundation, placed under the supervision of the Swiss Confederation, and it has been endowed with an initial investment of one million Swiss Francs, a sum of money that came from the Budweiser prize won as a result of the expedition and a contribution from Breitling. As its first campaign, the Foundation chose to support the fight against noma, an appalling childhood disease and symbol of extreme poverty. The Winds of Hope Foundation is therefore funding prevention and early detection programmes in the countries at risk and raising public awareness at an international level. Back to top

Air Serv International, with a home office based in Warrenton, Virginia, is a non-profit organization providing aviation services to the international humanitarian community and direct aid during the most desperate crisis situations in the world. Air Serv International is a humanitarian organization that excels in transportation and communication links. Growing out of the early mission focus area on the African continent, Air Serv International soon expanded to include flight services in Central America, the former Soviet Union, the Middle East, Indonesia and Africa. Its primary objective is to provide safe, reliable and cost-effective air transport to humanitarian agencies involved in relief and development - and to immediately respond to and operate in difficult and dangerous environments. Depuis 1980, des hommes et des femmes du monde de l'aéronautique, confrontés aux souffrances humaines, mettent leur savoir et leurs moyens au service de l'aide humanitaire, :ils créent l'ONG. - Aviation Sans Frontières. Depuis 1993, elle est reconnue d'utilité publique et, à ce jour, elle est riche de 3200 membres. Par sa vocation de transport, elle se met au service des ONG humanitaires qui se dévouent sur le terrain. Actuellement elle apporte son aide logistique à près de 300 associations humanitaires.(MSF, TDH, UNHCR, MDM, etc.)
Son action humanitaire se matérialise chaque année par :
- l'accompagnement d'environ 1000 enfants en urgence de soins.
- la découverte aéronautique offerte à un millier de personnes handicapées.
- l'envoi à travers le monde de plus de 6000 colis de médicaments.
- la réalisation d'environ 1200 heures de vol en avions légers.

Airline Ambassadors International (AAI) is the only humanitarian assistance, international development, and relief organization that leverages the resources of the airline industry. Membership in the organization is open to anyone, but airline personnel and their families are encouraged to use their flight benefits to travel to make a difference. Volunteers hand deliver food, blankets, clothing and shoes, hygiene items, medical and school supplies, and wheelchairs to children and families in need at home and abroad. Members escort children to the United States who are in need of medical treatment not available in their own country or who are being adopted. AAI also supports substantive international development projects, including digging wells in Nicaragua and building radio towers for indigenous peoples who live deep in the Amazon rainforest. These activities heighten awareness of global inequity, increase cultural appreciation, and positively impact local communities. Back to top
