Aboard the Lufthansa Business Jet business travellers and demanding private travellers can enjoy maximum comfort and optimal connections on their journeys between Europe and the USA. As of now, travelling in the Business Class-only aircraft will be even more relaxing and entertaining. The planes, which fly from Munich to New York/Newark, are equipped with modern lie-flat seats now. Thanks to their increased angle of inclination, they offer an almost completely horizontal reclining area two metres in length. In addition, all Lufthansa Business Jet aircraft on the routes Munich - New York/Newark, Düsseldorf - New York/Newark and Düsseldorf - Chicago are equipped with new high-quality DVD players.

Through the increased distance between the seats and spacious storage areas, business travellers will have even more room to do their work or simply to relax. Each seat offers a power connection for the laptop and a reading lamp integrated into the seat. The entertainment programme is also fully-oriented on the individual wishes of the passengers. Each seat is equipped with a DVD player with large display and excellent picture quality, on which the passenger can select his personal video programme. Anyone who prefers to listen to music can choose from an extensive selection of music.

Lufthansa has been offering the Business Class-only flights since May 2002. There is only a single class on board, the Business Class with 48 seats in an Airbus A319 on all routes from Düsseldorf and 44 seats in the Boeing 737 from Munich. The flights are operated by the Swiss airline PrivatAir. Routes and flying times have been specially coordinated with the needs of business travellers. Convenient departure and arrival times are taken into account, as are optimal connections to numerous further destinations in the USA and Europe.
