Iberia resumes St. Petersburg flights: Two weekly flights starting on April 1st

Starting on April 1st, Iberia will make two weekly return flights between Madrid and St. Petersburg, using 141-seat Airbus A319s. The flights will depart from Madrid on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 22:50 h and arrive at Pulkovo airport on 05:20 the following morning. The return flights will leave St. Petersburg on Wednesdays and Sundays at 06:10 h local time and land in Madrid at 08:55 h.

Boosting Services to Russia
With these flights, Iberia is strengthening its position in the Russian market, where it also offers a variety of Madrid-Moscow services, currently two return flights each day. Iberia launched its St. Petersburg route last summer, chiefly to meet demand from vacationers. From June to October it carried nearly 7,000 passengers, with a seat occupancy rate of more than 60%.
